Where is the church located?
18th St and Carter Avenue.
Where should I park?
There are several street parking spots. There is also a parking lot located behind the church.
Which entrance should I use?
You can always enter through the main entrance, but there are several stairs. If you need an accessible entrance or just don’t want to walk up stairs, we have a garden entrance that doesn’t involve stairs.
Is there a children’s or youth program?
Yes! We have a nursery program on Sunday mornings during the worship service, and our Arise Student Ministries meets every Sunday night from 6pm-8pm.
Are children welcome in the service?
Of course! If you have a little one, we do have a nursery like mentioned above. Though we do not have a children’s church, we do have activity lap desks that your child can use to help keep themselves occupied, if this is something you’re worried about.
What should I wear?
Come as you are! You’ll see everything ranging from t-shirts to suits. Wear what makes you feel comfortable.
Can anyone take communion / participate?
In the United Methodist Church, you need not be a member to receive communion. If you can accept the invitation that is given, you are welcome to take part in this sacrament with us.
Is your building accessible?
Yes! Come in through the garden entrance.
Is everyone welcome?
YES! Everyone is welcome.
